Go through the demographics of any organization and you will usually find that the percentage of people that are part of the identity group of any particular ERG/BRG tend to be either just a bit above or below the teens. Even in cases where a particular group shows a high numerical majority, these representatives generally do not occupy the highest power positions in any significant number. That’s one of the many reasons why all of these groups can benefit from attracting, securing and leveraging allies.
That’s the topic of this 7th episode of ERG PowerTalk. Join me and my guests Jamie Schounard Director Joint Preservation and Replacement program at Froedtert Health, Marisa Chambers EEO/Diversity Manager at Structure Tone and Calvin Hung, FACHE Administrator/AVP at Atrium Health for an information packed program on how to attract, secure and leverage allies.
Also check out the attached one-page description of the game Marisa Chambers talks about in this episode.
