Episode 10: Broadening Your Network’s Reach

Whenever disruption strikes an industry and pushes away the long established giants in favor of a newcomer with a broad new vision, there is always a warning message to the other established giants that goes something like this: “If you don’t start introducing new thinking into your company and reinventing yourself in light of what’s happening around you, you could be next.”

It’s no surprise that organizations want to be more innovative and agile, and that to do this they realize they need to be more inclusive of people who have different experiences and perspectives.  These companies also recognize that to get the most out of this diversity of thought. background and experiences that they need to have more inclusive leaders, and that’s where broadening your employee network reach can be a big help.

As one of our guest on this podcast puts it, by getting ERG/BRG leaders to think globally and act inclusively when it comes to who get invited to their networks and how programs are structured, companies are taking steps toward developing tomorrow’s much needed inclusive leaders. In this podcast, you will learn how some companies are already encouraging and supporting their employee networks efforts to become more national and even global in their reach.

I invite you to join me, and my guest, Paul Martin, Erica Fletcher and Dwight Roache in this fascinating discussion on how to broaden your employee networks reach and develop more inclusive future leaders.
